In two weeks, we’ll be in Chicago for the Merchandise Mart’s International Antiques Fair, held in conjunction with “Art Chicago,” the international fair of Contemporary and Modern Art, and “Next,” the invitational exhibition of emerging art. The Antiques Fair runs from Friday, April 29 – Monday, May 2 on the 8th Floor of the Merchandise Mart in the heart of downtown Chicago. Hours are Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; and Monday 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Adult admission is $20.00 a day, or $25.00 for a multi-day pass. Seniors, Students and Groups can get a multi-day pass for only $15.00. Children 12 and under are free. And remember, passes are good for all three Merchandise Mart shows! A special preview party with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live music for the benefit of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago happens on Thursday, April 28 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
