Note: According to Dwight Miller, this work is "a drawing of substantial quality" lacking the spatial intervals of his master, Franceschini. Miller attributes the drawing to "Franceschini's long-term loyal student Luigi Quaini (1643-1717) …who assisted Franceschini in all of his fresco commissions and large scale works". Quaini worked with Franceschini from 1688 until at least 1712. He may have assisted Franceschini with easel pictures up until his death in 1717. Since the subject is comparable to the Lichtenstein mythologies (1690-1710), a date of ca. 1700 is plausible.
